Chancellors Dining Room and Annex

  • Minimum of 35 guests required to book Chancellors Dining Room
  • Sit Down Served Luncheon or Dinner: 120 guest maximum
  • Buffet Style Luncheon or Dinner: 100 guest maximum
  • Stand Up Reception Style: 200 guest maximum
  • Chancellors Annex: 35 guest maximum for either buffet or sit down with no minimum required

Dining Rooms 8 & 9

  • Minimum of 25 guests required to book Dining Room 8 & 9
  • Sit Down Served Luncheon or Dinner: 100 guest maximum
  • Buffet Style Luncheon or Dinner: 90 guest maximum
  • Stand Up Reception Style: 150 guest maximum

President’s Dining Room

  • Maximum of 20 guests for Either Buffet or Sit Down
  • Table set up limited to Boardroom Style
  • No rounds available in this space

Each room has a minimum food expenditure of $150.00. If the food minimum is not met, there will be a $100.00 room rental fee applied to your invoice (labor cost not included).

Bringing Your Own Food

  • Brown University Catering caters all events held on campus unless approved by your catering coordinator through Brown First.
  • No outside food or beverage can be brought into the Sharpe Refectory, including private dining room spaces.
